Hello! I’m Alex Kozich, and I’m an intern therapist at Red Bird Mental Health completing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Eastern University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminology from Millersville University and bring over 4 years of experience supporting children and families in behavioral health and other therapeutic and advocative environments. During my internship at RBMH, I’ve worked with children, teenagers, and adults across many stages of life. My clinical experience includes supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and those striving for more authentic, empowered living.
Therapeutic Approach:
My therapeutic approach is grounded in humanistic and person‑centered principles. I believe deeply that every person deserves a space where they can feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I view therapy as a collaborative process where you can explore your inner world, build on strengths you already possess, and reconnect with your capacity for growth and self-care. Humans are remarkably resilient, and my hope is to help you discover the parts of yourself that can lead you toward a more peaceful and meaningful life.
A Little About Me:
Outside of work, I find joy in spending time with the people I love, including my friends, family, and my rescue cats. I also enjoy gardening, tending to my houseplants, painting, writing, and making music.
