Treatment Philosophy
-
- As an expressive arts therapist, I believe in the profound capacity of creative expression to facilitate healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. My approach is grounded in the belief that art-making is a universal language that transcends verbal communication and allows individuals to access and articulate deep-seated emotions and experiences. My role is to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can explore various forms of artistic expression—such as visual arts, music, dance, drama, and writing—to gain insight into their inner world and to foster self-awareness. I approach the therapeutic process as collaborative and client-centered, respecting and integrating the client’s preferences and needs. Through the creative process, clients are encouraged to experiment, take risks, and engage in self-exploration. I emphasize the importance of the therapeutic relationship and aim to build a trusting alliance with each client. This relationship serves as the foundation for the therapeutic work, enabling clients to express themselves authentically.
