Hello! I’m Gianna Yuhas, an associate therapist at Red Bird Mental Health. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from West Chester University and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a certificate in addictions counseling, from Saint Joseph’s University.
I’ve always felt called to this field and have been especially curious about how people navigate life’s challenges and why similar experiences can impact individuals so differently. I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, community mental health, and school-based environments.
Therapeutic Approach:
My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. I meet clients where they are and tailor each session to their unique needs.
I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques, while also drawing from my background in yoga to support mind-body connection and emotional regulation. Whether we’re exploring thought patterns, building coping skills, or simply creating space to process, my goal is to support you in a way that feels meaningful and empowering.
A Little About Me:
Outside of work, I love spending time in nature—especially hiking—along with practicing yoga and meditation. I also enjoy live music, traveling, and spending time celebrating and connecting with the people I love. These moments keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, presence, and joy.
